Brookwood and Walnut Creek group homes
are highly structured homes that provide
training in daily living skills, functional living
skills and recreational  programming.  
Several of our current residents are
employed in the community through Tom
Thumb, Albertsons, Hav-R-Burger, to name a
few.  Others attend our Day Habilitation
program, OWL'S  (Opportunities to Work
Learn and Succeed), which focuses on pre
vocational training.  Our goal is to make
each resident as self sufficient and
productive as they can be.

Our group homes provide 24 hour in-house
supervision, with a highly trained direct care
staff as well as several professional staff
members , including QMRP's (Qualified
Mental Retardation Professionals), Social
Workers, RN and LVN.  We contract as well
with a variety of other disciplines, including
Physician's, Dentists, Podiatrists, Physical
Therapists and Speech Therapists.
